Even if are currently the best player in the poker room that you are playing in, it would be a good idea to start every game at the bottom. Even the most experienced player in the poker room will benefit in some way from playing low stakes limit games or tournaments as this will allow them to get several hands successfully without taking too much of a risk. Of course limit games can be quite tricky and they will often lack opportunities to bluff. If you are new to the entire poker room experience however, bluffing is probably not a good technique to attempt anyway. As a beginner player, limit games offer a much more controlled and less risky way to play the game. In the same way, you may also want to seat yourself in a “late position� in the poker room, since this will allow you to see any moves that your opponents will make before you have to commit to an action yourself.
